Local Produce

Long before I came to the Ivy Inn I heard mention of Executive Chef – Owner, Angelo Vangelopoulos and his passion for local ingredients. I never quite knew the full extent until I started working there. His interest could better be described as an obsession. These pictures represent just 1 day of the week, and with deliveries from different farmers on almost every day, well I’ll let you do the math. In the pictures above there are over 14 different types of tomatoes, petite patty pan squash, baby zuccinni, baby yellow squash, okra , apples, potatoes, eggplant, bell peppers, red jalapeno peppers.

      Double H Farm, Randys Produce, Polyface Farm, and many many others work tirelessly to bring us these amazing vegetables. I hope this gives everyone a better idea of the ingredients we use and the work that goes into growing and utilizing them.
